Amerex Corporation STRIKE ELECTRONIC SYSTEM Fire Suppression System

Amerex CorporationSKU: STRIKE ELECTRONIC SYSTEM

Description

The Strike Electronic Actuation and Control system utilizes linear heat detection (LHD) or spot thermal detectors to detect a fire which triggers the Strike ECS to fire a linear actuator that is mounted on top of the pressurized agent cylinder. This action opens the agent tank valve allowing the KP agent to flow into the discharge piping. The KP agent travels through the piping and out the nozzles to suppress a fire in the hood plenum, duct and the cooking appliances. The appliance protection nozzles are evenly spaced throughout the hood creating a hazard zone that allows for appliance movement, with a simple estimation process. Appliance specific coverages are also available, but require more details to protect the hazard properly. The Strike ECS connects to a relay module which controls the reset relay for a solenoid operated gas valve and 2 sets of dry contactors for electrical shutdowns and notifications to fire and building control systems. The Strike ECS continuously monitors the health of the detection, manual pull, shutdown and actuation circuits along with the power supply batteries, if any trouble arises the Strike ECS will notify the fire or building control systems. The Strike ECS is an all-electric system and does not require traditional mechanical corner pulleys, cables or fusible links that frequently get clogged with grease (contact factory for pricing)
